Join RRT at Valley View for a hike under the moon. This is a great way to see Valley View after hours and for a whole different experience. No registration is required. We will depart at the scheduled time for a semi-guided hike. Meet us at the entrance at South Milford Road. We will hike ~2 miles and our hike will generally last 1-1.5 hours.
We’ll have several group leaders available for those who would like to learn more about the property or any hiking questions that may arise. Valley View is a 190 acre preserve with a diverse trail system and rich history. Entrance to Valley View is always free.
Additional Details:
Well behaved dogs are welcomed
No on-site bathroom
RSVP encouraged but not mandatory
Terrain can be muddy when wet

June 3rd is National Trails Day and the Buckeye Trail is hosting the Biggest Day Hike event. In one day, people from all over the region have signed up to hike portions of the Buckeye Trail and together we will hike the entire 1,440 miles!
RRT is hosting a hike through the Loveland sections #7 and #8. Our start point will be in Mariemont starting from the town square and our end point wil be in Milford, at your favorite outdoors store! Please RSVP: for this event so we know how many people to expect and can reach out with time or location changes. Weather can change our plans. This route is entirely paved but does have road crossings. If you’d like to do a smaller section with us please arrange your own shuttle to or from your car. If you’d like to do the entire 6.1 miles with us we will be in contact with you and can help shuttle individuals or if you are able to station a car at both the start and finish points for the day you can be self sufficient. You may also choose to walk there and back or station a bike at one end.
We will walk a moderate pace. Kids and strollers are welcome as this will be very family friendly. We encourage you to join us for fun hike along our wonderful Buckeye Trail and be part of the Biggest Day Hike!

Now is the time! Enjoy all the summer has to offer by trying out and finding your perfect kayak today. RRT has a fleet of demo kayaks for you to try different styles and find what is best for you.
These events are free of pressure, your friendly RRT staff wants to make sure that you make the right decision and know all the ins and outs of kayaking before making a purchase. That is why our crew will be happy to answer all of your questions and break down any barriers in this exciting water sport. These events are also free after a small registration donation of $5 per person. 100% of your registration will go to Hereos on the Water.
This event has a mandatory RSVP, this way we can appropriately staff the event and notify you of any changes of location, start times or cancellation due to weather. This also assures that we can give you the attention, instruction, and education that you deserve. Due to staffing and logistics, RSVP’s close 48 hours before the start of the event.
