Trail Name: Karma

I am a habitual daydreamer; my bucket list is the size of a small novel. The backbone of my obsession with adventure began with my parents and the camping and travel vacations I embarked upon as a child. Finding friends and family with similar mindsets fueled this obsession, and I’ve now traveled to 47 of 50 states, worked and accompanied multiple expeditions in Alaska, traveled in Europe and backpacked sections of the AT to name a few.

My passion for the outdoors, a degree in business, and 11 years of business experience helped to springboard my entrepreneurial dreams in 2010 when I started RRT with my husband Joe and my cousin Bryan. Owning a small business has taught me to carefully plan my adventures in order to maximize the number of peak experiences. My motto has always been, “The best way to achieve a dream is to book it.”

What trips are you currently day dreaming about?

Patagonia, Antarctica, Peru, and always more European countries

What is your luxury item when your backpacking?

I have a few luxury items. My sleeping pad is thick and luscious because I love a good nights sleep. I also bring a book pertaining to the region I’m exploring.

If you didn’t own RRT what would you be doing?

Well, I started an event planning company in 2016 so I do design and styling for private and corporate events with Bryan’s wife. If I wasn’t doing that full time I’d own a toy store. Joe and I have a very large board game collection!
